How much income can we generate from Video Gaming?

All live gaming locations' revenues are public record at the Il Gaming Board website.
We will help you research your area and type of business to determine an estimate.

How are revenues split?

  • Host location (that's you!) receives 34.6362%.
  • Terminal Operator (Abraham Gaming) receives 34.6362%.
  • State of Illinois tax share receives 25%.
  • Municipality tax share receives 5%.
  • Scientific games receives .7276%.

The operator (Abraham Gaming) covers all capital costs (the video game terminals), and profits after taxes are split evenly between the operator and the host (your business).

How do I qualify for Illinois Video Gaming?

Applicants qualify if they are:

  • Truck Stops (3 acres of property and 10k gallons of diesel sold monthly)
  • Retail liquor pouring establishments (bars and restaurants)
  • Hotels
  • Fraternal or Veterans establishments

How long is the process until we have machines at our location?

Typically, from application to live gaming, the process can take 3-4 months. In some instances a location can be licensed within a 2-month period.

What type of fees are required for Illinois Video Gaming?

The annual State Gaming License is $100.
Abraham Gaming (the operator) covers the startup costs (equipment and capital investments). You (the host establishment) are only required to cover the $100 license fee.
Municipality fees vary from municipality to municipality.

Abraham Gaming will help you through all licensing processes.

When and how do I get paid?

We make direct deposits into the company account of your choice twice a month.
